The three numbers you need
- ☐ 1. kWh used — how much energy you used in the period
- ☐ 2. Unit rate — what you pay per kWh (cents or pence)
- ☐ 3. Standing / fixed charge — what you pay per day or month before you use anything
How to use them
- ☐ Annual cost ≈ (kWh per month × 12 × unit rate) + (standing charge × 12)
